Welcome to SW19 WI

This is the website for the SW19 WI branch of the Women's Institute and, as you may have guessed, we are based in the Wimbledon area of London. 

We formed in November 2010 and, as you can see from our Archive page, we've already had a wide range of speakers at our monthly meetings - handily located in Wimbledon Village - and have many clubs up and running.  We have organised visits to Buckingham Palace and the theatre and museums, and we have further events planned.  

Our members are keen to make this a thriving and fun WI.  In fact they have been so successful, that we have now had to close our membership as we have reached the capacity of our meeting venue.  However we are operating a waiting list, so if you would like to add your name to this, please look at the information in the FAQs first then let us know via the Contact Us page.
